Should I become a Notary Public before taking the Mortgage Notary Signing Agent class?
It is not necessary to be a Notary Public before attending the Mortgage Notary Signing Agent seminar but; those who wish to work as Mortgage Notary Signing Agents must understand that they must first become a Notary Public for the state in which they plan to notarize mortgage loan documents.
A Mortgage Notary Signing Agent is a commissioned Notary Public in their state, non Notaries cannot act as Mortgage Notary Signing Agents.
You can place you Notary Public application before the class or wait until you obtain the materials at the Notary class.

When is Lunch and for how long?
The class will break for lunch at about 11:45 and resume at 1:00 PM promptly.
Students are responsible for their lunches. We try to have seminars in Hotels which have an on-site or local restaurant. |
